Steve Heller leads Math Explorations one-on-one and in small groups where he and his students delight in exploring the joys of math together, in-person and online. Steve was the math curriculum developer and the lead math teacher for Einstein’s Workshop in Burlington, MA, and he served as the Project Librarian at the Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival.
Math has always been Steve’s joy! He minored in math while getting his Ph.D. at MIT in Computer Science and turned mental math into dollars when he joined the MIT Blackjack team. After a long career as an innovator (31 patents) and leader/executive in industrial Computer Science research labs (leadership essays), Steve gave himself permission to switch to the career which has always been his dream: teaching math to kids.
